Airport in Wrocław – 80 destinations in the summer flight schedule

Already on Sunday, the summer flight network from the Wrocław airport enters into force. There are 80 destinations in total, including four novelties: Turin, Stockholm-Arlanda, Oslo-Gardermoen and Venice-Treviso.

Almost 95 weekly flights to major hubs throughout Europe. On March 27, the summer flight schedule comes into force.

The new season includes 52 low-cost, 21 charter and 7 network destinations.

Dariusz Kuś, president of Wrocław Airport, emphasized, "The flight schedule is slowly starting to resemble the one from before March 2020. In addition, the government decided to make it easier for travelers and lifted the quarantine after arrival in Poland. We can see that pandemic restrictions are slowly disappearing, and carriers are more and more willing to restore connections and launch new directions. This gives a good chance of rebuilding the aviation industry in the near future."

New directions

In spring and summer, the airport in Wrocław will offer four new destinations introduced by low-cost carriers: Stockholm-Arlanda, Venice-Treviso, Turin and Oslo-Gardermoen. The first three directions are introduced by Ryanair, and the last – by Norwegian, a new carrier operating from Wrocław airport.

Turin, Stockholm-Arlanda and Oslo-Gardermoen will appear in the Wrocław flight schedule for the first time in history. We will fly to Turin every Monday and Friday in May, and the first flight to Stockholm-Arlanda airport will depart next Monday. Flights will run four times a week – on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays. We will fly to Oslo on Mondays and Fridays, and to Venice-Treviso four times a week – on Mondays, Tuesdays, Fridays and Saturdays.

Cezary Pacamaj, vice president of Wrocław Airport, said: "In the summer news you can see a strong Scandinavian representation. Stockholm-Arlanda is Sweden's largest airport, and Oslo-Gardermoen, Norway. Both are one of the largest European hubs in Europe, which gives passengers from Wrocław a convenient transfer option."

Vacation destinations

The summer schedule also includes a wide range of southern directions, i.e. Italy – as many as 9 connections (Bologna, Milan-Bergamo, Naples, Palermo, Pisa, Rome-Ciampino, Turin, Venice-Treviso, Bari), Spain – 5 connections (Lanzarote, Alicante, Palma, Malaga and Barcelona-Girona) and Greece – 3 connections (Athens, Chania, Corfu). Among other typical holiday destinations are:.in. Malta, two cities in Croatia – Zadar and Split, as well as Podgorica (Montenegro), Burgas (Bulgaria), Paphos and Larnaca (both in Cyprus) and Georgian Kutaisi.

You can also go on vacation from Wrocław with popular charter parties. There are as many as 21 such directions in the summer schedule.in. to Greece, Spain, Turkey, Egypt and Tunisia.

The coming months are also a good opportunity to use the connections of the Ryanair line from Wrocław to Gdańsk and to the Olsztyn-Mazury airport.

7 connections with large European hubs

There were also seven network connections in the summer flight grid. Lufthansa offers three flights to Frankfurt and two to Munich daily, and Eurowings from two to six connections a week to Düsseldorf. We will fly to Amsterdam every day (KLM), and to Copenhagen (SAS) three times a week. The list of network connections is also complemented by Swiss (Zurich, twice a week) and PLL LOT, which offers six cruises a day from Wrocław to Warsaw.
